Region: Provence France
CLIMATE: 2012 is an unusual vintage. After a relatively mild autumn, the spring was colder than usual, and disturbed by an episode of hail which slowed the maturation process, while allowing an expressive vintage. It is characterized by a nice maturity, well rounded, refined and warm wines.
WINEMAKING: Each parcel is vinified separately; cold skin contact maceration; pressing with separation of free-run juice from pressed must, cold static must settling; temperature control of fermentation at 17 18°C, racking and blockage of malolactic fermentation.
TASTING NOTES: Clear peach colored rose with nice silver reflections. The nose is refined and aromatic, with aromas of white peach, citrus fruits and a touch of minerality. round, with a nice volume and notes of peach. The final is fruity and crunchy with great length. A well balanced wine, between roundness and freshness.
